my top ten...
i love the The Torkelsons, Dorothy and her nightly chats with the "man on the moon"...Its a classic!
just crazy enough..
Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them. Disagree with them. Glorify, or villafy them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. Everything Fabulous just put a big smile on my face with this new ad campaign from Louis Vuitton featuring Dree Hemingway. There is not a more splendid or chic way to travel.

once when i was little { james morrison}
I was the one,
who would always
jump in first
Didn't think twice
to look behind
Got such a good feeling,
just from playing
in the dirt
Once,
when I was little
We could build a rocket,
fly to the moon
Leave Tuesday morning,
and be back for noon
There wasn't nothing,
nothing that we couldn't do
Once, when I was little umm
Once, when I was little
Yeah I could dream more then
Yeah I believed more then
That the world
could only get better
Yeah I was free more then
I could pretend more then
That this life could
only show me good times
Once, when I was little
umm ohh lalala
There was a time
when I trusted everyone
Yes I did
There was no place
that I would not go oh no
Spend a day on the hillside
next to the holly mo
Oh once, when I was little
Yea once, when I, I was little
Yeah I could dream more then
Yeah I believe more then
That this world
could only get better
Yeah I was free more then
I could pretend more then
That this life could
only show me good times
Once, when I was little
Used to feel so strong
Even when they tell me,
tell me I was wrong
That I can't live
in a magic world
Cause it's time
for me to grow up
That I got to be
like the rest of them
When I know
there acting up ohh
I could believe more
then yes I could
I could pretend more then
That this life could
only get better
I could believe more
then yes I could
I could pretend more then
That this world could
only show me good times
Once, when I was little
When I was little
So here comes the next one,
the next in line
Stay as young you can,
for the longest time
Cause those days flew by
Like a breeze
just passing through
Once, when I was little
who would always
jump in first

rare but exceptional...
this year it became apparent that friends certainly come and go.so awhile back my best friend posted this great quote about what defines a best friend.honestly all the petty stuff doesn't matter in the long run,but what does matter is consistently being there for one another and more importantly allowing someone to always be there for you.
“What defines a best friend? What are the requirements to be a good best friend? How many hours a week does it entail? Stupid questions that have no answers. A best friend is not defined by how many times they talk on the phone, or how many hours they hang out together. It is not defined by how many sleepovers they gossip at, or how many inside jokes they have. There are no requirements or laws that state that a good best friend must hang out with them every weekend, or tell each other every little detail. A best friend is a matter of opinion. It is the person who has been there for you through everything, not just through the fun things, or the little things. It is the person that you call when you are at your absolute worst, it is the person who saves you when you didn’t even notice that you needed saving,
mostly it is the person who accepts you for who you are, and the person that you are becoming.”
cherry on top..
one of the best parts of my day is kicking back and browsing my favorite blogs,so I thought I would share them with you. Enjoy!

Wheresoever you go- go with all your heart
words to live by..
“…I’d rather help than watch. I’d rather have a heart than a mind. I’d rather expose too much than too little. I’d rather say hello to strangers than be afraid of them. I would rather know all this about myself than have more money than I need. I’d rather have something to love than a way to impress you”.

one wild ride
I thought this day would never come.Today when I finally saw those words" you can go ahead and apply to graduate right now",I almost didn't believe it. I don't think I ever thought the time would come but I could not be more proud, relieved, and excited to move on with my life. Peace out Arizona State University. Hello Nursing School!!!!

bittersweet summer.
Kristen's going away party is a bittersweet ending to summer...I'm so bummed to not to have my best in AZ anymore, but I'm so proud of her for following her heart and dreams! There's not a doubt in my mind that she isn't going to kick-ass.

my top ten..
Memory #3
Ask any girl what her favorite T.V show was when she was a little girl and I bet most of them will say "Saved By the Bell".I think all of us have a show that we were obsessed with a child, this show is without a doubt my favorite.Bayside High was the place to be... How could you resist Zack's sarcastic attitude and blonde hair, and what girl didn't want to be Kelly Kapowski! And who can't forget that catchy theme song, which I will totally admit to still singing too every time I hear it!

for life.
"Every now and then, we find a special friend, who never lets us down, who understands it all, reaches out each time I fall. You’re the best friends that I found. I know you can't stay, but part of you will never ever go away. I'll make a wish for you and hope it will come true; that life will be kind to such a gentle mind. And if you lose your way, think back on yesterday. Remember me this way."--
must have [cookbook]
peanut peanut butter and jelly..
Joy the Baker is one of my favorite blogs. These Flourless Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies are super simple, and a great crispy little cookie.
1 cup all-natural chunky or smooth peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
about 1/4 cup any fruit preserves you fancy
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet with butter and set aside. In a mixer combine peanut butter and sugars until well combined, about 2 minutes. Add egg and baking soda and mix for another 2 minutes. The dough will be crumbly. Roll into teaspoon sized balls and make a small indentation in the center of the dough ball with your pointer finger. Fill the depression with fruit preserves. Bake for 12 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool on a baking sheet for two minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
